Once we found out we were having a girl, I knew what I really wanted to do for the nursery. When Brenna was born, my Grandma made her a beautiful quilt that I had always wanted to center a nursery around. (It is featured in the picture above!) A good friend generously volunteered to make some crib bedding (bumper, skirt and curtain) to match the quilt, and I started planning how I would want to paint the room. We decided to do scallops, and below every other point of the scallop we did a flourish stencil (which you can't see really well).
We are so excited with how everything has turned out. I feel much more ready for her to come, and I can't wait! What do you think?

Are all your babies C-section babies?! Darling room. I'm so jealous that you only have 7 days left...and yet I'm SO GLAD I have 7 WEEKS to prepare myself further.
