Beating the Heat

While our air conditioner was out, the temperatures were bordering the 110's, with a high humidity to boot. Thankfully, our in-laws had a cool place to stay. But the kids could only stay inside for so long. So they played in a wading pool (in the shade!) and a sprinkler.

And a funny observation: Cannon loves dunking under water. He jumps in a regular pool, goes completely under, and pops up with a huge smile. In the bath tub or wading pool, he will put his face under, and come up gasping for air, happy! But, he does not like being sprayed in the face. He did not like the sprinkler hitting his face, or he is not a fan of showers. What a funny boy!
