This is about a mile and a half away from us, close to our sister & brother-in-laws house. There are a few road closures while they repair the lines. Thank goodness we still have power!
And this photo has not been photoshopped! The roof wasn't erased with a mouse click, it really is missing that much! Besides this poor family, and a few others, the damage is minimal. But, it is just the beginning of tornado season! 
And NO, it was not that big! (I couldn't get a picture for last nights, but I will add some when they are available!) Last night around 2am, our printer in our bedroom started re-aligning, like it had just been turned on. When I woke up to that, I realized that our power just came back on. I then realized the tornado sirens were going and it was windy and hailing outside. I turned on our tv, and saw our satellite was down. I waited about 5 seconds, and when the image came on, there was a huge red map of the square mile we live on, with a funnel image going across it! And the weather guy kept repeating, "If you are near Danforth and Kelly, get in your storm shelters or in the center of your house..." I ran to the bedroom and told Ryan, "They told us we should be in storm shelters..." (Doesn't make sense, but I couldn't think straight). He slowly got up (too slow for me!) and came and watched the weather for about 30 seconds. It was moving North West, and the winds outside died down. He went back to bed, but now I couldn't sleep! They soon showed footage of where it touched down (about 2 miles away, tore off 2-3 roofs, downed powerlines, etc). No one was injured, and only minor damage. But they also reported we are getting more severe weather on Wednesday. Hopefully it will skip over us again! Crazy OKLAHOMA!

Our next door neighbor Emily will join her, and spend hours playing in our backyard. Her favorite activity...
collecting, then organizing the greenery. She was very upset when Dad mowed down her beautiful flowers!
We had our first Primary activity for the year yesterday, and I am very relieved it is over! It went GREAT! The theme was "Children around the World". The invitations looked like Boarding Passes, inviting them to travel from country to country, learning about different languages, food and culture, without leaving the Church! When they arrived, they had to first go through our...
METAL DETECTOR! We had way too much fun with this concept! Then a "TSA Agent" checked for any liquids or firearms! We had a full staff with 2 TSA agents, a Security Guard, and 2 Flight Attendents. (And an unhappy Cannon. It was nap time, and he lasted as long as he could!)
Several people from our ward, prepared a room and about a 10 minute lesson about a separate country. We had Japan, Holland, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Ukraine and France. Here is our Bishop preparing Japan. He even had each of the kids names written out in Japanese characters for them. It was amazing!
They even provided little treats from each country. Here's Puerto Rico. We had passports for each of the kids to get a sticker from each country. It couldn't have gone any better! 
We even had a grouchy KGB, who had to "check their papers!" before entering his country!
After they traveled around the world, we have pizza and drinks for them. We decorated with sets of luggage, with bouquets of balloons attached (Thank you Dickman's for picking those up for us!). Anyway, I have the BEST presidency, especially my good friend Cherie who orchestrated this whole activity. All credit goes to them! I honestly think this should be an anual activity, with different countries each time!
On our way home from Church today, Brenna kept arguing with us. After about 5 minutes of going back and forth, we had informed her she was going to have to go to the corner when we got home. She responded, "I wish I didn't have to go to the corner". I came back in a rebuttle, "I wish I had a daughter who didn't argue with everything I said". Her quick yet hopeful reply was, "Someday you will Mom. Someday you will have another girl, and she will be the daughter who doesn't argue." Ryan and I were silently shaking, trying not to let her know how funny she was! And I asked, "Well, what about you? I wish you were that daughter." And she said, "Sorry. It's not going to be me." And for once in this car ride home, I knew she was right, and I gave in. 
15 days....and counting!

We had a great day! We spent the morning at church, rushing from calling to calling, but both feel good about the lessons we taught. The messages in our sacrament meeting were outstanding, and so was the music. Just a great day at church. Then had a relaxing afternoon at home, then headed over to the grandparents! The food was super yummy, and the men had fun hiding the Easter Eggs. I think there was a total of over 200 eggs to divide between 3 kids! And some eggs were hiding Dollar Coins! Brenna made a killing including: 4 rubber lizards, 3 bouncy balls, $11 in coins, 1 CTR ring, and too much candy! Then we enjoyed watching Enchanted. What a great day!
Who me? 7 months?
I can't believe it, but Cannon was 7 months on Wednesday! He is such a fun, handsome, silly, HUNGRY, boy! And we tried to imitate the birthday card my sister Rachel sent Ryan for his b-day. It had a chunky boy with a mohawk on it, so I attempted to get a similar shot. Of course, Cannon's is cuter!
There is a pretty nostalgic restaurant in Stillwater, home of Oklahoma State University. The restaurant is called Eskimo Joes. It is a bar and grill with a gift shop attached. We ordered cheese fries, shared a steak, and Brenna enjoyed their chicken strips. Cannon chowed on his food through the mesh binki, and enjoyed the french fries as well! It was a great outing, and got me motivated to go discover all that Oklahoma has to offer! I will keep you updated on our adventures!
