Yes, it is true. My big girl actually started Pre-Kindergarten today! She goes from 8:35am-11:05am, barely enough time to run errunds, work out, or clean the house. But, she is definitely ready for school.
She posed well for pictures, even though I could tell she was nervous and tired.
Poor Cannon was riped from his cozy bed, thrown in the car seat half awake, and sleepily took his sister to school. With such a late night, they were both
exhausted. But he did love climbing in her cubby.
The teacher had invited us to stay for story time, which helped ease in those with separation anxiety (on both the part of the parents and the kids). Brenna was very quiet, observant, and sweet. I am so glad she has a friend, Eli, in her class. (The co-star of the
Pirate Adventure) Having a friend will hopefully make her more comfortable. I couldn't believe she is in school! I am so excited for her!

Wow, before you know it she'll be in kindergarten...that makes for a long day for them if it's full day kindergarten! She's just adorable and I love her new haircut!

your kids are growing up so fast I can't believe she is old enough for school and I can't believe Cannon is already 1. it looks like you had fun on your trip. Did you make that cake yourself? I am sure you did it is so cute and very creative I am impressed. Oh and your sisters baby is so cute!
No way did I make the cake myself! Albertson's gives a free 8" cake for a baby's first birthday. So it was free! Even better!

Your trip sounds like a fun one if you forget the airport part of it! I can only imagine being stuck there with the kids and luggage and everything. I'm glad you made it there and back safely. :)

So, do you keep in touch with Lindsay and Donnalin still? I havent seen them forever. I always wondered if Chip and Lindsay got married. Anyways, we are living in Gilbert, AZ now just renting right now until our house is done.
