FINALLY!
RYAN GOT THE JOB! He got the official call yesterday, and we jumped up and down screaming for about a minute! Then he took probably 3 big, deep breaths and sat down, looking more relieved and content than I have seen him in a long time. When we first moved out here, he applied for Chesapeake (several times), and like the other tens-of-thousands who have applied with them, got turned down. He interviewed almost 3 months ago, and the wait was worth it! Chesapeake is an amazing company. It is part of Fortune's 100 Best Companies to Work for in 2008 (#62). It has outstanding benefits, incomparable pay scales, and no record of lay-offs! We are ecstatic! Congratulations Ryan! (After our camera's done charging, I'll post our happy dance!)
