Thunder Game

 My mom has recently requested me to update the blog. Sooo.... I am making myself sit down and do something I enjoy, but never find time to do. We have been very busy through and post-holiday season. All good things, just exhausting!

First up, one of our highlights over the past month!!! The NBA season finally started, and we went to our first Thunder game Thursday, December 29.  The Thunder played the Mavs, the team that took out the Thunder to play in the championships and eventually win. In other words, the game was intense! For most of the game the Thunder was up. But of course, in true Mavs fashion, they came back big time.

The Mav's Fisher hit a 3 pointer to go up by one point, with 1.7 seconds left!!! We were bummed, thinking that the game was taken from us in the last few seconds. But, Durant proved us wrong, and all the fans wrong who got up and left!!! Can't believe people LEFT with 1.7 seconds left!!!

Durant hit a buzzer busting 3 pointer to bring the Thunder up by 2 points and win the game. The crowd went CRAZY!! Everyone was jumping up and down screaming. I haven't seen a crowd stick around to celebrate that long. We kept chanting Durant, and really stayed until he left the court. Also, another highlight

Okie, Kristin Chenowith was there to sing the national anthem and cheer on her team the Thunder. We sat about 10 rows behind her, and didn't realize it till they showed her on the jumob-tron. We also got on the jumbo-tron a few times...probably not the most flattering shots... but we were so excited, who cares!?!
