Brooklyn has been a sick girl. A little after Thanksgiving, and after we got over our stomach bugs, I noticed Brooklyn was a mess. She was waking up a couple times a night, hard time getting down for naps, cried over everything and just seemed exhausted. She did not have a fever, or a runny nose, or a cough. Other than behavior, nothing seemed wrong with her. Boy, was I wrong! Finally took her in to the doctor, and she had DOUBLE ear infections and had massive tonsils. First round of antibiotics started, no improvement. 2nd doctors appointment, still had ear infections. 2nd round of antibiotics. Things seemed to get worse, so a 3rd doctors visit and antibiotics. Her fluid filled ears finally seem to not be infected, but not drain. We finally made it in to see our friend who's an ENT and he has highly suggested getting tubes, and her still massive tonsils and adenoids out. She has a hearing test tomorrow, then we will get her surgery scheduled. Oh, I can't wait to finally get her on the mend. Poor thing!
