Our Stake President went on a cruise last summer, and he met a man named Jim Fowler who is a Christian pastor who collects amazing Christian biblical artifacts. The highlight of his collection is a 1613 2nd Edition Gutenberg Bible!

He does "travelling exhibits", and lets you
touch everything! You could turn the pages of this bible, along with all of his amazing artifacts.

We brought Brenna and her friend Alyssa, while Alyssa's mom generously watched Brooklyn and Cannon. I am SOOO glad we didn't bring the youngest two, not only the value of pieces in the exhibit, but there was a very large crowd and it would not have been enjoyable!

Here is a facsimile of the Vaticanus B Codex. There are only over 100 in the world, 40 of them still at the Vatican. It was amazing.

Here is an original Torah Scroll Fragment. Written on leather. This was covered in a plastic covering, but you could still feel the softness of the leather.

Here is the cover of the 1613 Bible.

Here is an upclose shot of part of the 1613 Bible.

Here is Brenna standing in front of a "geneology chart" at the beginning of the Gutenberg Bible. At the top is God, then Adam and Eve, then Cain, Abel and Seth, and so on through out the entire Old Testament.
