These pictures were taken a few weeks ago. He managed to nail his head on the banister of a friend's stairway, twice, in the exact same spot. He had overlappingdouble goose eggs, and a small cut. It looked much worse in person! He also had a black eye that day. He climbs, falls, cries, gets back up, and climbs again. We are very blessed he hasn't broken a bone, or needed stitches. It is only time before we have an ER visit. Last night, he fell off a chair in the kitchen, face first, landing on our tile floor. He got another goose egg, in the exact spot of those in this picture. The right side of his forehead is a magnet for the ground.
When do kids learn to catch themselves with their hands?

Cannon is just like James! James has always got some sort of scrape or bruise on his face! William was always so careful... but James is fearless--and it shows!
