Days 8-13

The last few days were a whirlwind. We had SO much fun! Here are a few of the highlights:Love the shades don't you!? We went to a petting zoo at Thanksgiving Point. Brenna wouldn't go near the cages, but Cannon was either falling out of my hands, or out of his stroller, to get as close to the animals as possible. Two totally different people!
We also played an indoor soccer game with two of my friends from high school, Joe and TJ. Their lovely pregnant wives were supportive enough to make it to the 11:30pm game! And Ryan and I decided the Utah altitude was killer on our untrained lungs!
We also had a birthday party for my nephew Joshua! He is such a doll! It was at a park, on a nice, sunny, un-humid, day. We played bocce ball (spelling?), soccer and let the kids run free.

Hand ball!

We spent a day with Ryan's brother and sis-in-law, and their two kids at the Gateway Mall. (Post-David Archuleta mayhem! But same day!) There was also a reception in Sandy for my brother and sis-in-law, which was fabulous! We spent plenty of time at the chocolate fountain! And Brenna's favorite part of the trip, was making a movie, "Soccer Ball Boy and the Bicycle Bandit". I will try and post that later. It is a classic home movie. We had an amazing trip, and were definitely thrown back into "real life" when we got home!
