The whole family got together on Christmas Eve at my parent's house. We had a Cameron's Traditional Christmas Eve dinner of homemade (even the noodles) Chicken Noodle Soup. But you have to eat it the Irish way, with mashed potatoes in the bottom of your bowl. Try it, it is really good! Afterwards, Aunt Julie showed the cousins how to make stain-glass sugar cookies. (Notice the flour handprints on their behinds? They were working hard!)

We then had a family re-enactment of the Nativity, costumes, singing and all. Cousin Caleb was Joseph, Marysa was Mary, Zale and Ryan were shepherds...and

Brenna was the angel.
Todd was the narrator, and read Luke 2. After several verses, we'd sing a Christmas Carol that applied to the scriptures. It was really neat.
It was my favorite part of Christmas. The kids were so good! Thank you Freestones for lending the costumes, it added a special touch to the whole night.
