After watching "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and reading Luke 2 (re-enacting it with her nativity scene), and opening the obligatory "Christmas pajamas" present, we prepped the house for Santa.
Brenna threw carrots on the deck out back for the reindeer...
And picked out about a half a dozen sugar cookies for Santa.
Then she quickly said her prayers, and climbed into bed. Just as we were kissing her goodnight, there was a creak in the kitchen (probably the icemaker) and her eyes got huge, pushed us away saying "Just go! He's here!" We could not stop giggling. But we need to hurry to bed so Santa doesn't skip our house!
