A good friend of mine has a daughter the same age as Brooklyn. And she is her first child. She hasn't completely lost her energy or brain power or creativity...yet! And came to me with an idea to do a "pre-school" for our daughters, Mondays and Wednesdays (and most times Fridays). We do a letter a day, and sing songs, do a craft, play games and have a snack. Another little girl has joined us, and the three of them have a GREAT time!
This day was the letter "F". The girls did finger painting! An activity I rarely brave myself, and so of course Brooklyn LOVED it. Except she didn't love having her hands all messy! I'm so glad I have something scheduled to spend quality time with Brooklyn, because in the rush of the regular day, she is usually tagging along for the ride. She's getting so big!
