Cannon's First Day of School

Cannon is attending Southern Hills Child Development Center, the pre-school I used to work at. He is only going one day a week, Mondays. But so far, he LOVES it!

This is his "funny face". If someone is sad, he uses this to try and cheer them up! A friend, Kate, was sad in the foyer at Church, so he walked over to her, and pulled his "funny face". She didn't budge, he turned to me and said, "It didn't work!"

He was so excited to have to take a lunch, like his big grown up sister. He used Ryan's Transformers lunch box from his childhood.

His teachers are Miss Angie and Miss Carol. He calls the school, Angie's School, now. It is so fun to see how excited he is to play at school. He has a friend, Ryan, who is our friends' son. AND, it has been amazing to have one day to spend with Brooklyn. To go shopping, clean the house, relax during nap time. It would not be worth it if he hated school, but he is following in his sister's footsteps and LOVES school. Hopefully a great start to a fabulous year.

I love his first day of school picture out by the tree. That's so cute he tries to cheer others up with his silly face! One day a week--that sounds like a great start for a 3 year old. There's nothing like getting scared away from school at such a young age with their all-day schedules now! Henry's jealous of Cannon, I'm sure!
