May 24th was an active weather day in Oklahoma. Two days prior was the fatal massive tornado that hit Joplin, Missouri. There was a sense of panic, especially with the possibilities that three separate storm cells moving across the OKC metro. We do not have a storm shelter, so our best option is my in-laws under ground home!

We weren't the only ones who thought this was the perfect place to weather out the weather. We had 6 different families, 16 kids, 10 adults, 2 dogs, 1 cat and a flock of chickens! We picked up some pizza's on the way, put a movie on for the kids, and the adults sat in front of the bedroom tv watching the storms move around and over us.

Kids really didn't have any idea!

All that was left in Edmond were big rain puddles! The kids enjoyed soaking themselves in the large puddles.
