Easter Weekend

What a fun filled weekend! Ryan didn't have to work Friday, so we got some lunch to go, and took the kids to see How to Train a Dragon in 3D. Cannon didn't like keeping the glasses on, so he enjoyed a fuzzy movie climbing up and down the stairs. Saturday, a friend had a few families over for donuts, muffins and an Easter Egg Hunt. Let the sugar begin!

Can you find my 3 kids!? And Brooklyn is sitting up like a big girl. They grow TOO fast!

We then enjoyed both Saturday sessions of conference, and the low key, relaxing day. It seems like some of the best talks are on Saturday, especially the morning session. Afterwards, Ryan left for the Priesthood session and I arranged for a babysitter for a girls night out to celebrate a birthday. We went to dinner and also saw The Last Song (which is a typical Nicholas Sparks story, but really good). Sunday we tried to sleep in, the kids enjoyed their Easter baskets, watched more Conference, baked homemade rolls (first time, and they turned out great!), and headed over to the in-laws. We had a yummy dinner (got way too full!) and then hid hundreds of eggs outside.

Just the beginning of her 87 egg loot!

Cannon took his time, and would sit down, open an egg, and eat. Then continue on in the hunt.

Brooklyn and Luke with Grandma and Grandpa. It was a GORGEOUS day outside, almost too warm. But as the evening came on, it became more and more perfect.

Brooklyn and Ryan doing one of her tricks.

Brenna counting and separating her eggs. She was so determined to beat her older cousin Jacob, that according to her records, she beat him by 2 eggs. Should I demand a recount?

Cannon doing his own thing. He loves bubbles. So much so, that he tried to drink it! This boy always keeps me on my toes. But I love that I caught a bubble in the picture!

BUBBLES!
And what would a Bushman holiday be without a pinata!? The kids love this tradition, and they know their place in line (youngest to oldest) and anxiously wait to swing at this poor duck. But Aunt Heather unleashed the fury, and finally cracked it open.

Cannon and Leif chasing each other with their suckers. These kids were on sugar highs after all of their treats

Cutest little bunnies ever. I love $1 finds at Target!... Wait I mean, presents from the Easter Bunny!

Brenna and Lily after the Easter egg hunt. Silly Rabbits!

What a fun Easter. I'm amazed at how big and animated Brooklyn is! Nice bubble, Cannon! Henry's crazy about bubbles, too.
